Leap of Faith

Dec 10, 2021

When you don’t think there is a way…

It’s time to move out of the Preparation Stage with a leap of faith into the Manifestation Stage!

Enough staff meetings, researching the “best way” to do it, organizing the material in the “right way”. Enough moving the deadline further out to accommodate a potential and, as yet, unnamed and unforeseen obstacle (which may never happen!)

When procrastination somatically vibrates the fear of failing, get curious and leap into a more supportive energy field.

Then manifest one step at a time (with maybe another leap here and there). That’s how evolution works. That’s how we deliver!

[In Writing, Creativity, and the Mindful Coach] I enjoyed learning about how to be an effective coach via the route of writing and mindfulness. This was a new experience for me and one I found to be very valuable. I have a new and great tool in my toolbox to better serve my coaching clients. Thank you for this course!

Right Speech provides essential tools for making one’s way through the complexities of this human experience–our own, and those of our clients.

Mindful Eating, Mindful Life is all about nourishment, energy, savoring and throwing away what doesn’t work for us in life. The course unfolds deep mindfulness about moments in time, decisions, weighing options, filling the void and emptying way beyond food.

I enrolled in Writing, Creativity and The Mindful Coach in the hopes of reigniting my writing practice. As a student, corporate employee, and average human being in a life that pulls us all in a hundred different directions, I was simply looking for a sacred space for writing. I needed the boundaries, a time and a place, and accountability. I got that in this class…and I got infinitely more. What I did not expect was that I would begin an actual practice, and that infinite possibility could arise from a simple five-minute exercise. I also did not expect to see such a clear connection and application in the coaching world so richly exemplified. Part creative class, part coaching class, part poetry reading session, this class was a truly revelatory experience for me.

This was an incredible learning journey, both personally and professionally. The leadership skills were discussed in creative and useful ways and the class exercises really forced on to think and happy each skill to themselves. We left, If Steve Jobs Were Your Coach, armed with incredible knowledge about ourselves, our coaching and our life!

[Writing, Creativity, and the Mindful Coach] provides a unique space for combined practice of mindfulness and creativity through writing which enriches our effectiveness as coaches. It’s a special opportunity to continue to hone our use of our core competencies while also gaining the ability to go deeper. On the one hand, it allows us coaches to learn skills and establish patterns for doing our own essential “inner work” that helps us to be authentic and real in our work with clients. And on the other hand, it sets us up with tools that are relevant and useful for our clients. This kind of course stretches us beyond the “mechanics” of coaching and therefore makes us relevant and truly relatable resources for our clients.

Ann-Marie was so open and honest. She was extremely patient and I look forward to more classes with her. She embodies the true spirit of a coach as she pushes you towards your own personal goals, while managing to teach you to focus on the client’s goal as well. Kudos to her and her team!

I really enjoyed my experience with [Skillful Means]. It was my first time participating in a course in this format and I was pleased at the sense of community that was created with the online format. I’ve already signed up to take another course with the school this summer. Thanks!
