Grow into your leading edge by being coached on your coaching – for ICF credentialing (initial or renewal).
The Mentor Coaching Group and Individual Sessions are designed for student coaches and credentialed coaches to fine tune, activate, and embody being a Mindfulness, Wellness & Somatic Coach. Along with coaching skills, we delve into altruism, compassion, love, connection and much humor… it’s the whole enchilada!
What are the Group Mentor Coaching sessions like?
The Group meetings begin with Q & A. Coaching concerns and questions are discussed. It is a time to explore where you may feel flummoxed, puzzled, or less than stellar as a coach. It’s a time of Beginner’s Mind.
The second segment is an observed coaching session. Each week two colleagues will take on the role of the coach or client. The remaining members will observe the session. Each observer participates by giving positive feedback and later asking questions that arose from the coaching session. Meg offers suggestions, comments, and observations during and after the coaching session.
The seven hours of Group Mentor Coaching sessions are 1-2 hours per session. (See schedule.)
What are the Individual Mentor Coaching sessions like?
The Individual sessions are all about you! They are about guiding you into the field of being a stellar coach by focusing on meeting your needs. This is not a time to worry about looking good. Instead, it’s a time to determine what areas of your coaching are in need of attention – taking it all to the next level.
You will bring forward what you’re unclear on, confused about, stumped on, or needing more awareness around – anything that will help you become a stellar coach. It’s a time to learn and have fun as you grow into your leading edge. It’s a time for practice. Meg will not be coaching you; you will be coaching your clients or classmates during part of the session.
The three individual sessions are one hour each and scheduled directly with Meg Hess, Liv Syptak and Ann-Marie McKelvey.
Mentor Coaching is not about creating your business. It is about helping you become a stellar coach!

What Students Are Saying
I am an already-certified coach from another coaching program, who took this course [Mentor Coaching] in order to meet the needs of re-certifying my ACC credential. Joining this group was a requirement, and thank goodness that it was. Watching fellow apprentices practice Mindfulness Coaching with each other has reignited my passion for coaching. I feel that I’ve found a new learning and coaching path thanks to the power of what I’ve seen and participated in. I look forward to learning more about mindfulness and how to apply it in my coaching practice. Even in short practice sessions, it seems to me that mindfulness tools deepen the experience exponentially! What a joy it has been. I can’t wait to learn more.
