“Stretch” is a good name for this course. It stretched us all to reach beyond what we thought we knew, dig deeply to experience those paths that we will be coaching on, and stay open and curious about everything.
This class taught me a lot more than I expected. I worked through some really hard issues in my writing and came out on the other side, with amazing insights and feeling very accomplished. The instructor worked seamlessly, incorporating coaching and writing skills into each class, demonstrating how therapeutic writing can be and how to incorporate it in coaching our clients.
What a way to start my journey at MCS! This was my first class related to my Coaching endeavor. The STRETCH class is a marvelous macro-level course about what one can expect in the coaching field. The instructor fostered such a memorable and supportive space and I know I will nurture those friendships for years to come.
This was an incredible learning journey, both personally and professionally. The leadership skills were discussed in creative and useful ways and the class exercises really forced on to think and happy each skill to themselves. “What is pulling on your sleeve?” was a question presented in [The Art of Engaged Mindfulness]. How often does someone actually ask you that or how often do you stop to really be mindful of what is present in you and pulling at you in the moment? I learned how to really dive into this feeling and capture the present in The Art of Engaged Mindfulness.
What an amazing journey into the human body and being present within yourself!
Mindful Eating, Mindful Life has application in all parts of one’s life, not just around our consumption of food. The readings and tools are practical applications to support learning and mindful practice. The instructor, Brenda Fagan, created a safe place with her presence, kindness and compassion. I highly recommend this course.
I was given such an expansive view of what I’m capable of: creating a successful business for myself.
