Self-Differentiated Leadership

What does it mean to be an effective leader?
How might we help our clients discover new ways they can lead
(in their families, at work, in the world) with less stress and more clarity?

In this Mindfulness Coaching Call we will explore an understanding of leadership
from a Systems perspective; examining how we can lead with courage, clarity, and confidence
while staying connected with ourselves and others.

Rev. Dr. Meg Hess is a Licensed Pastoral Psychotherapist and ICF ACC.
She has been coaching clergy for many years around how to lead with less stress and more joy.

I went into Right Speech thinking it was a way to connect through words and discovered it was much more. Transforming beliefs and behaviors, courage, resilience, kindness, listening; the qualities of how and what we communicate, nonviolent communication, connecting to self, understanding our needs and feelings as a series of openings that help us coach our clients to self-awareness and the change they want to be.

Right Speech is not only something you can take into your coaching practice but it’s something you can take into your personal life as well. These skills have already been extremely helpful in my everyday life from encounters with family to encounters with strangers and everything in between. You won’t regret taking it, I promise!

I’m very happy and grateful for participating in The Dynamic Trio. I now have knowledge and experience of coaching with additional dimensions; EMDR and positive psychology work amazingly well together. I loved the holistic approach of coaching, this was just what I was looking for (moving the focus and energy from head to body)! I want to thank everyone who participated in this wonderful class – I enjoyed learning, working, laughing and crying with my class mates very much – such an open environment supports everyone’s development greatly! Thank you, Ann-Marie, for sharing your wisdom and kindness and being absolute inspiration for me!

When I initially signed up for Right Speech, I was skeptical that my communication skills could be improved by reading a couple of books and participating in a couple of class exercises but I was wrong. This class has drastically improved the way I communicate on a personal and professional level. I now have a full toolbox of techniques to better communicate with co-workers, family members, and practically anyone. The skills that I have learned have help me to improve relationships, facilitate meetings, and interact with others more effectively. I would recommend this course to anyone wanting to learn how to better communicate.

I appreciated the online learning format for obtaining my EMDRIA credits and was glad to experience a taste of professional coaching. The class (The Dynamic Trio) made me curious about the process of transitioning from a clinical psychologist towards a professional coach. Thanks!

Mindfulness appears in many forms these days. In The Art of Engaged Mindfulness Ann-Marie takes us on an exploration of wisdom, understanding and practice, which nurtures the depth of our engagement with this powerful way of living.

The Dynamic Trio program was wonderful. I learned so much that I have applied right away, and yet the course itself felt light and effortless – perfect conditions for learning. I am taking away a renewed sense of the power of positive psychology and feel more liberated yet grounded in my coaching work. The client imagery and somatic awareness from the practices and applications have been so inspiring and moving. Thank you!

This class (Right Speech) was incredibly valuable for my coaching skills, and for my life. There was so much applicable information presented in an embodied and pragmatic way. Our instructor, Meg Hess, has an ability to evoke wisdom from everyone.

Writing, Creativity and the Mindful Coach takes each of these key components and weaves them together to create an effective tool for coaching. It allows both coach and client different ways to dive deeper into the coaching agenda and help the client uncover thoughts/feelings that might be illusive in a safe way.

I loved this course (Becoming A Mindfulness & Wellness Coach: You at Your Best). It was so inspiring and real and authentic and deep. I felt like I got a really good grasp of how powerful wellness is… and wellness coaching, by extension. I liked all the tools that were brought in – NVC, Credos, wellness plans, assessments, etc. That made it all feel more concrete and DOABLE for me. I really liked the energy of the group as well!
