MCS continues to complement my journey as a counselor, becoming a coach. This course [The Dynamic Trio] focuses on a new paradigm in human services as well as a new paradigm in consciousness.

What a way to start my journey at MCS! This was my first class related to my Coaching endeavor. The STRETCH class is a marvelous macro-level course about what one can expect in the coaching field. The instructor fostered such a memorable and supportive space and I know I will nurture those friendships for years to come.

[In Writing, Creativity, and the Mindful Coach] I enjoyed learning about how to be an effective coach via the route of writing and mindfulness. This was a new experience for me and one I found to be very valuable. I have a new and great tool in my toolbox to better serve my coaching clients. Thank you for this course!

What seemed apparent in the course description [The Art of Engaged Mindfulness] cannot contain the experience of going on this journey with Ann-Marie and a class full of incredible people. Because of this course, I’m a better coach and a wiser human.

I enrolled in Writing, Creativity and The Mindful Coach in the hopes of reigniting my writing practice. As a student, corporate employee, and average human being in a life that pulls us all in a hundred different directions, I was simply looking for a sacred space for writing. I needed the boundaries, a time and a place, and accountability. I got that in this class…and I got infinitely more. What I did not expect was that I would begin an actual practice, and that infinite possibility could arise from a simple five-minute exercise. I also did not expect to see such a clear connection and application in the coaching world so richly exemplified. Part creative class, part coaching class, part poetry reading session, this class was a truly revelatory experience for me.

I really enjoyed taking The Dynamic Trio: EMDR, Positive Psychology & Somatic Coaching. The course provided me with new knowledge and applications of the material, not just to use in my personal life but also to integrate what I learned into my practice as a mental health therapist… I appreciate Ann-Marie setting the mood for the group and laying the foundation for safety, acceptance and openness from the beginning.

“What is pulling on your sleeve?” was a question presented in [The Art of Engaged Mindfulness]. How often does someone actually ask you that or how often do you stop to really be mindful of what is present in you and pulling at you in the moment? I learned how to really dive into this feeling and capture the present in The Art of Engaged Mindfulness.

Right Speech with Meg [Hess, PCC, D. Min] is a wonderful class. I am grateful for the many communication tools I learned throughout the course. Meg as an instructor brings uplifting energy to the class, keeping the discussions engaging and memorable

The course [S-T-R-E-T-C-H!] allowed me to ‘stretch’ my ability to practice what I preach. Philip was very competent and helpful to all of us. It was a great experience. Thank you Ann-Marie, Philip, and Brittany!

I recommend that all coaches, regardless of the industry in which they work or the type of coaching that they do, explore mindfulness coaching. The skills practiced and explored in the Mindfulness Coaching School promote successful coaching outcomes. For example, practicing the skill, “global listening” was powerful. As a seasoned coach, I will integrate more global listening into my coaching engagements, knowing the power of this skill to provoke powerful questions can drive positive forward movement.
