What Dance is Dancing You?

What Dance Is Dancing You?

September 2,1993 I witnessed Mikhail Baryshnikov become the dance at the Santa Fe Opera. I wept as the sun went down over the Jemez Mountains and the dance danced him. It was a sacred, holy time. He. Was. The. Dance.

Becoming the dance didn’t happen miraculously for him that early fall evening. It took decades of practice, discipline, embodiment and inspiration. It took finding and working with mentors. It took staying focused. It took sacrificing and saying no in order to say yes to the dance, one hundred percent.

What dance is dancing you? What are you practicing? What are you focusing on? What are you sacrificing so you can say yes to your dance 100%?

To determine what dance is dancing you…look who you have become.

If you find your dance is not a reflection of who you want to become… change the music. Restructure the choreography of your life and leap into the air!

Become the dance you have always known was there. Let the dance dance you…

Somatic Coaching with Qigong taught me much more than just how to do the practice itself. It was very insightful and rejuvenating to go through each body system, learn the bright and dark side emotions and feelings that each affect; and how to uplift them. The class expanded my ability to receive (gather) as well as to visualize my body and appreciate it ~ each individual system, major organ and the miracle of its connectivity. At MCS we talk that it all begins with us, and then we can take it out into the world. This class teaches us to recognize our positive energy within as well as that around us from the universe.

Business Alchemy is the perfect class to complete your prerequisites for certification. I was able to draw from the work that I developed in my other MCS classes and bring it all together into a concrete vision of my business as well as the layout for my website. Not only did I solidify my mission and vision statements, polish my elevator pitch and build the foundation for my website, to name a few, my confidence in who I am as a Professional Coach grew profoundly.

“What is pulling on your sleeve?” was a question presented in [The Art of Engaged Mindfulness]. How often does someone actually ask you that or how often do you stop to really be mindful of what is present in you and pulling at you in the moment? I learned how to really dive into this feeling and capture the present in The Art of Engaged Mindfulness.

This course and experience really energized me and got me invigorated to be more creative in my work and life, and take more risks. That was the biggest surprise benefit of all!!

The Dynamic Trio is not only something that will help you bring more light into others’ lives but will also be beneficial for your own. The content was priceless and made me a better person.

When I initially signed up for Right Speech, I was skeptical that my communication skills could be improved by reading a couple of books and participating in a couple of class exercises but I was wrong. This class has drastically improved the way I communicate on a personal and professional level. I now have a full toolbox of techniques to better communicate with co-workers, family members, and practically anyone. The skills that I have learned have help me to improve relationships, facilitate meetings, and interact with others more effectively. I would recommend this course to anyone wanting to learn how to better communicate.

This course [Body Electric] really teaches you how to dive deep into somatic awareness. I was looking to get more comfortable with this practice and the class exceeded my expectations from the book to the instructor, Ann-Marie, to the guest lecturers. Many “WOW” moments as I used the techniques for myself and with my clients.
