Can I achieve ICF credentialing through the Mindfulness Coaching School?
Yes! All classes at the Mindfulness Coaching School are ICF approved toward credentialing as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) or Professional Certified Coach (PCC).
What does the credentialing process look like?
After completing a minimum of either 60 (ACC) or 125 (PCC) class hours, ten (10) hours of Mentor Coaching (7 in group, and 3 individual), a Coaching Log of 100 (ACC) or 500 (PCC) hours of coaching experience/practice, and the ICF Coach Knowledge Assessment, you may apply to ICF for credentialing. Please click here to visit the ICF website for details.
We recommend beginning with classes and your coaching practice log as soon as possible! Mentor Coaching hours and the ICF Coach Knowledge Assessment will come as you naturally progress.
To receive credit for classes is there anything required of me outside of being present?
You must be present for 80% of the class hours. Outside of this ICF requirement, it is highly recommended to participate 100% in the Weekly Practice with your colleagues. The coaching methods work if you do! The weekly practice helps you integrate the material covered in class and develop your skills as a coach. Anticipate giving yourself 1-3 hours a week outside of class time.
Can I receive Counseling CEUs or EMDRIA CEUs from taking classes?
Yes! Ann-Marie is a CEU provider through the state of New Mexico and offers optional Counseling CEUs with all ICF approved classes. The Dynamic Trio: EMDR, Positive Psychology & Coaching also offers optional EMDRIA approved CEUs.
