Altruistic Mindfulness Coaching for You: Finding Refuge in Times of Change

UPDATE: The Altruistic Coaching program is currently on hiatus. We will provide more information soon, as our vision for this program morphs and evolves. Thank you to all of our participants so far, and to our gracious alumni coaches for offering their skills to the world in a time of global crisis.

(March 2020) The last few days my heart has been filled with gratitude for the many altruistic actions circling our world. When this gratitude pulses through our bodies there is no room for anxiety, fear or panic.

And yet, during this time of radical reorientation, a blanket of shock covers our planet and many people are struggling to re-define their place in this uncertain world. Coaching helps us to stay open, engaged, and responsive. It teaches us to let gratitude flow from our inner selves on outward to the wider world.

As part of our response effort, a group of our trained alumni coaches will be available Mondays and Wednesdays via Zoom to coach individuals free of charge. Dependent on the total number of participants in a call, the coaching will be either one-on-one, or in a small group setting.

Our goal is to foster community and goodwill among all people coping with the current global crisis. We are calling this new program Altruistic Mindfulness Coaching: Finding Refuge in Times of Change.

For those new to coaching: we partner with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal potential.  The approach is different from psychotherapy and is not meant to instruct or advise.

By participating, you will join a strong mandala of others in our global community who will support you, guide you, and dance with you in this time of change.

How it works:

•Register on the MCS website or by clicking the blue button at the bottom of this page. We will offer sessions twice a week (you may attend one or both):
Mondays at 8am Mountain Time (see your timezone)
Wednesdays at noon Mountain Time (see your timezone)

•Once you have registered, you will receive a Zoom link in a separate email—save this email and use the link to join the day of your session.

• Each session, we will pair you with a trained alumni coach. (If we have more clients than coaches we will have small coaching groups.)

•Each week you will be partnered with a different coach or coaching group.

•No money will be exchanged. This is solely an outreach project with the intent to help people cope with our rapidly-changing reality and adapt to the new world we are living in, together.

Deep bow with a very big hug and much love,

You can register for both Monday and Wednesday sessions using the button above. Sessions are drop-in format. You do not need to attend every session to participate. Come when you can! We’d love to have you.
