Loving Awareness

May 16, 2022

Pause for just a moment.  Breathe deeply and exhale.

•Watch what emerges as your mind begins to settle
with each inhale and exhale.
•Watch attentively and breathe even deeper into it.
•Breathe into the not knowing.
•Exhale any stagnant qi.
•Dive deep into and engage with loving awareness.

Not getting it? Go slower….have your breath become
your ally…

And now try again,. This is why it is called a
“practice”…. ( – ;

What are you aware of?

I quickly started looking forward to Tuesday evenings. I never knew what the take away (from class) would be, but came to recognize it would be rich and meaningful – whether it was from my own process or through witnessing the process and collaboration with my colleagues.

I have never thought of myself a leader. The designation just didn’t resonate, and I thought this class [If Steve Jobs Were Your Coach: Leadership Skills to Thrive] might be an odd fit for me. This class helped me rethink what leadership means to me. I learned that leadership qualities are powerful everyday tools that I can call on to generate energy and shift perspective in any life circumstance! I came away from this course with an array of creative strategies and lenses to choose from, as I meet challenges in my own life and as I work with coaching clients facing their own challenges.

Ann-Marie was so open and honest. She was extremely patient and I look forward to more classes with her. She embodies the true spirit of a coach as she pushes you towards your own personal goals, while managing to teach you to focus on the client’s goal as well. Kudos to her and her team!

More than just a class to help us eat more mindfully, Mindful Eating, Mindful Life is a great class for anyone interested in the topic, anyone with a desire to practice mindfulness in a new way and for anyone wanting to dust off or deepen their meditation practice. The course and materials may seem small, but they are so expansive. Thanks to Brittany for bringing this topic alive and for the school for providing such an amazing course in mindfulness.

Working with Ann-Marie McKelvey is a transforming experience! She has coached me through different aspects of Life, from launching a successful coaching career to building my own wellness internally. Ann-Marie has gifts that she shares with those around her to help them be their best possible selves and reach their goals. She does this through listening deeply, asking the right questions and role modeling at the same time! I feel so blessed to have her as my coach!

The Dynamic Trio was an excellent introduction to the EMDR protocol, giving insights to students who were new to the techniques presented, like me, and also to students familiar with EMDR from use in trauma treatment. We got to experience the power of EMDR for coaching ourselves from the instructor’s skillful examples in class with actual student situations presented. I think we were all impressed with the results.
